Seats

Truck is a 1992 club cab with front bucket seats with center console. Have kids so would like to put a front bench seat in. What years would fit in this truck? And how much of a project is it to switch out. Would also like to put bench seat in back where the two jump seats are, is this possible. Thanks for your imput.

We just did a set of '99 40/20/40 seats in a '77 P-Wagon - buy are they comfortable, and the ride height is fantastic - great visibility, and a bit higher than factory in '77.

I put the same seats in my 93 and give the same thumbs up! Much more comfortable; both my boys can ride in front and ride height is good. I got mine in a little crooked so we're gonna redo that, but it's the way to go.

How much modifying did you have to do in your 93, because that is basically the same thing that I have.

Thanks

Thumbs up

no mods to the '77 P-Wagon and just the angle iron to 'extend' the base of the '99 brackets to 'fit' the '77 floor. Simple and strong

did you have to do any modding to get the seats to fit in your 93 and also what year did you get the seats from.

Thanks,
Eric

As far as the factory front buckets/console go,my opinion is you won't find a more comfortable Dodge seat.
With regards to the rear bench idea, check this out:

I live in Washington state. My seats are in excellent condition, and red would be great, because my truck is the two tone red and silver. I would be interested in doing that, but sounds like we are quite aways apart.

As to the comfort, they are extremely comfortable, but just dont have room with three kids and wife. I need a bench seat, because the wife refuses to ride in the bed.
