Rocker Box With Oil Cap

I need to replace one of my plain rocker boxes with one that has an oil cap.

I also need an almost-flush cover to block off the oil filler tube on the timing cover.

Does anyone know the part numbers for these items??

I have added a couple of V-belt accessories to my engine that interfere with the oil filler tube.

Im almost positive that these aren't items you can buy. The rocker cover is easy to do, drill it and put a rubber gromet in it and then get a push on oil cap. The cover you might be able to get some kind of plug to thread into it so the hole is covered

Bearkiller- If you can find a school bus graveyard that is a good place to look for a valve cover with an oil cap.

Mike-On a 12 valve all 6 covers are interchangeable. That's not the issue though. On a 12 valve the oil filler cap is on the end of a fitting that goes where your breather tube hooks up. Durn overvalvers!

Well when I started to push 60#'s of boost it was time for me to look for an additional breather. I used a 24 valve style breather which replaces the 12valve oil fill tube and the first rocker cap. Its kind of a pain to fill the engine with oil, but I really don’t have another option. It works fine, but you need to have some patience. It fills real slow.

I guess I waited too long because I have some leaks and I think it is due to the fact I pushed some of the seals out because of the boost. You can use the old oil fill cap or the new rocker cover comes with a new one that you can use. If you want pictures I can take some just let me know. I cut my top cover so I can keep the 160/400 plate that is on top of all 6 covers. Its all stock right. Well mine is anyways

Yes pics please. I'm looking for some additional breathing myself.

I've wondered if the guys that run those chrome valve cover breathers were using the valve covers with fill caps, or just cut a smaller diameter hole.

Be sure to use one of the high performance 710 caps as I've heard they're good for 10 hp.

6DoubleDuece and 92DIESEL Thanks.

I feel better now, but let me tell you it was about the worst case of the flu that I have ever had I couldnt keep anything down. I even got some of that medicine that is supposed to help you stop it came back up too.

Anyways back to the topic at hand I took the pic's today, but I had a meeting this morning so I didnt get them uploaded. I should be able to get this done before I have to go in for training tomorrow. Sorry for the delay.
