I have to agree with him it is like the way I would do it, unless I was just replacing parts of the bed. Something along the lines of covering a previous owners stack hole or the like.

There is a positive to replacing the floor itself.

You get to bone up on your welding and fabrication skills. Think of how many welds you must complete to replalce a bed floor. You'd be a real pro a welding by the time you're done burning through all that wire.

If the rest of the bed is perfect, I could see just replacing the bed floor. Though if the floor is beat to crap I doubt the rest of the bed is all that great either.

I suggest you buy memory foam gel mattress, I personally use this and really It's working well for me, it's easy to carry, and easily we can move. I bought it from Nest Bedding Coupon, and I must say its worth buying for me.
