Does anyone have a source for replacement bed floor material. Preferably 1 piece, but whatever is available.

Talked to Exline Custom Auto about bed flooring. Heres a email reply I got.

4' wide and 6' long would be $410. Price depends on size. The ribs are
not the same shape as the original. I use 1 die to stamp all of the
different bed bottoms. I use 18 gauge steel. That is what the 1960's
Dodge trucks used. I have a 9 week backlog right now so if you need a
bed bottom make sure you order it before you will need it.

he doesnt have a pattern for our truck beds. I may have to make a pattern and see if a 1 or 2pc stamping is possible. The extrusion would be from a 60s dodge truck. Anyone have a good pic to compare to 1st gen trucks?

Wow, makes me want to go get that bed back from the body shop that did my cab work! Paid $200 for the whole bed!! Local diesel repair shop had taken it off their service truck. It sat for years behind their shop.

Why are you replacing the floor, when you can unbolt the old one, slap on the replacement .

Seems like a lot of work to replace the floor in one.

Isnt what you just said replacing the floor? Mine is shot. Theres metal broken out where my fuel take is/was bolted down, the rest is beat to crap from a million miles of pulling a gooseneck trailer.

T-man is referring to replacing the whole bed as a complete unit, rather than trying to weld in a new bed FLOOR itself into your old bed.

I have to agree with him it is like the way I would do it, unless I was just replacing parts of the bed. Something along the lines of covering a previous owners stack hole or the like.
