Removing oil pan

I suspect that my gasket is leaking. is it posible to pull out the pan with the way it sits just by removing the bolts or is there more to it?

Im pretty sure thats all thats involved, I dropped on of my lif pump bolts down into the engine and thought that was how i was going to have to get it out but fortunatly it came out with a magnetic dipstick though the drain plug.

Make sure you check your main seals. From what I have read they are the most common problems but I hope for you it is just a matter of removing the 100 some-odd bolts for the pan.

You have to mostly pull the motor to get the pan out.
