Regulator for Piston LP

Who or what do I need to make/get a regulator for a piston LP? I found one but it is for a 2nd Gen. A couple of guys here (Greg and BC847) said it was a good deal but I needed a regulator. So is there a way to fab up my own?

I need a new LP as I pushed the top of mine in slightly when I was trying to take off the fitting for the fuel-in port. Ugh. So with me wanting to have enough fuel for future mods, I thought, why not put one in now.

Thanks!

Jon

Hmm, the piston pump I have doesn't need a regulator, but I am sure if you use a stock 2nd gen LP you will have to regulate it somehow.

What he's talking about is the low pressure spring that makes a piston LP work with our trucks. There's the high pressure spring that makes it work with the 2nd Gens trucks as well. Otherwise, the pumps are the same if I'm not mistaken.

I can't find the part numbers for either.

That pump only puts out 15 psi. It is an industrial engine pump. Not a Second Gen. pump. No regulator is required. all you need are the parts listed in the "sticky" under misc. Cummins part numbers. Piston LP.
