All i can say after driving the truck is wow. I had the trans rebuilt and a trans go shift kit installed in it and bought the goerend $650 converter. To think I thought the truck was fast before it is a total different animal!!!!! the old h1c dont like it much it is loud I need to get the boost guage in it tomorrow. I m waiting on my macinest buddy to make me an exhaust flange for the HE351 i have waiting for it and it cut open the front of the truck for a 2nd gen IC that is going in.

Sweet!! I miss my 727 already. I was going to go the same route. Go out there and smoke some ricers! Pretty tight converter huh?

o ya she is nice and tight I was going to go the same way you are going I eaven bought a clutch pedal and put it in my truck lol then I decided to build the auto

When I buy my truck i want it to be a 5 speed. But really the only reason I want a 5 speed is cus it will blow the black smoke more. I also here they are better for pulling.

Whats a 5 speed have to do with making smoke? yea you can lug it and make smoke come out by getting under the turbo but thats bad for the trans....

find what you can get with a good body, trans swaps are easier than body work.
