rearched front springs turned out awesome
i found a guy to re arch my spring he added a 2 1/2 ton spring it brought the front of the truck up about 4 inches believe it it actually rides better he also did a 3 into 5 exhaust using a big rig stack the long ways it looks bad *** i will try to get some picks he did it all for 500.00 i think that was a deal
did he rearch the front springs and add 2 leafs or just the extra spring? if you got 4" you probally should get a drop pitman. did you have to take the springs off or did he do all the labor? post pics, a little lift and a stack is allways cool.
I got a total of for inches mind you the truck has 310k the springs were starting to sag a little 500.00 included him taking off my springs it took him about 4 hrs that was included him doing my exhaust i had the 5 inch stack but he used all new 3 inch no muffler and a 5 inch tip that he welded to my 5 inch stack thats how he got 3 into 5 it looks awesome he custom made all new hangers mind you the stack sits side ways runs alomg the frame rail and dumps in front of the rear wheel i cant belive how good it turned out fairly quite in the cab but loud on the out side i will try to get some pics soon i live in the high desert of CA it was a little hole in the wall shop in the industrail of los angeles next were my neighbor works he took it in for me but thats all the guy does is springs and exhaust all labor and everthing 500 cash
its just a hair noise which is what i wanted now all i need to do is paint it i also just put in a mag hytech tranny pan the double deep it hold 12 quts so far the trans temp gauge show the hottest a 160 the pan is awesome but pricey at 270 i still cant believe i paid that much
