Rear Leaf Springs
91 D350 Dually with airbags, I would like to take out aome of the leafs to provide a better ride and keep my bags, has anyone done this and what stepd would i take???. Not hauling loads i used too, ride is like an ox cart with square wheels . Thanks

You might want to do a search. A couple years ago, member Jim Lane did a great writeup on modifying the rear leaves on his D350 to improve the ride, and had good results. It may be worth a look.

My '85 crew cab has modified airbag / stock leaf springs set up on it.
The leaf springs are missing one or two springs out of each spring pack to make it a softer ride.
The air bags take the load front and back.
The air bags are connected to an air compressor on board so I can adjust the air, front or rear bags, up or down, from the cab.
Ride is really nice for a W-350 Cummins crew on 33s.
