yea but once you put the adapter on there nothing will line up...

and the 2nd gen DP probably wont' work because right now the cast elbow comes off the hx into the downpipe, the downpipe does not actually meet the turbo unless your running a different setup than most hx35 guys run.

and the new turbo has 4" and the downpipe has a 3" flange so you'd need to weld on a 4" flange to the DP and then find some kind of 4" eblow to go from the turbo down to meet the DP ....

im not using my dp i have now im going to go out and buy a 40dp. i dont think the adapter will make all that much the difference. and ditching the cast elbow would be great beacsue now to has the DP set back some and its pinching my trannys dipstick tube.

We are on the same page with the buy as you got it and if it is a 16 then I would say to definitely buy it. I am just trying to save someone from making the same $300 mistake that I did with the 19 housing. The turbo I bought sits in my basement like a scar you don't want to talk about, but I am still determined to find a 16 housing to try it. Even though I bought the He351.
