That is a real one.

I think 60mm is as big as they get. But I hope for your sake it is bigger!

Is it t3 or t4? Does it have any numbers inside the exhaust inlet's?

I see the stamp on the exhaust in the first pic. Its a 19cm exhaust. I bought one off eBay that came off a 8.3 Cummins and didn't install it cause everyone said it will be really laggy, especially with a stick shift like I have.

Is it T3 exhaust or T4 ???

Is it 4" exhaust outlet or 3" ???

I think it'd make a good turbo for hybrid parts but $300 is too much just for that.. and i don't even know if WH1E compressor/wheel would go onto an hx35.

Find out if its T3 or T4 foot and what size exh. outlet...and go from there

Finding an exh. housing for that thing is prob gonna be a pain...i'm not even sure what size turbine wheel it has. 60mm or 65mm ?? thats the one you can see in the pic.

If its a T3 foot and will work on your truck, ask him if you can slap it on there and run it down the road and see how you like it ??? maybe if hes a good enough buddy. hahahah

I think the WH1E has the t-4 flange but am not 100% sure

i'd say no.. but thats just me.

If you put the adapter on there, would if the oil line is too short?? then the oil return won't line up... the downpipe won't line up...depending on how thick the adapter is.

I have been asking where and how much for a 16cm housing for 3 or 4 months on multiple sites and no one knows.

The T3-T4 adapter is around $56 on eBay and is 3/4" thick. My two cents, save your money I just bought a HE351CW on eBay for $330 with only 5k on it. The 19cm turbo I bought sits in my basement and is only good for conversation.

Nah, you just need to clock the turbo and get a 135Degree bend silicone hose to hook up to your custom crossover... I mocked it up on my non i/c crew and it would work fine, but more trouble would be the exhaust...

I don't know how deep your pockets are, but here is what I just bought. They would be installed to if my rear-end didn't blow.

Keep your $300 and for $200 more you could have an intercooler and a turbo you don't have to modify. I am only trying to save you the $300 paper weight like I have.

papecat- that what i was thinking. the exhaust would be a bear to run. but i have a second gen downpipe now so i cant see why a second gen HX40 dp wouldnt work.

jer12377- im not against your idea at all but i just want to be able to break up the amount i spend over time. if this housing comes back as a 16WG im going to pick it up and adapt it to fit. if not i keep hunting til something catches my eye
