Electric radiator cooling fan idea

Since I couldnt find a single fan kit of the size of our fans (21-22 inches) I've been thinking of using the existing fan and mounting it on a DC fan motor. And would use the stock shroud too. These motors are available from 1800 rpm up to 3600 rpm.

Does anybody know the fan rpm when the mechnical fan clutch is locked?

Any comments welcome.

The fan rpm will be whatever the rpm of the engine is if its locked up.

Not necessarily. The fan pulley is much smaller than the crank pulley. I was hoping someone knows the ratio.

If you can get to them to measure them, divide the fan pulley diameter by the crank pulley diameter. Then multiply by 3200 for max fan RPM.

Why not go with a dual fan kit? I think that DC motor your considering will have a hard time throwing around that big metal fan.
