Radiator

alright my radiator is almost shot. im trying to get it fixed , but if i do have to replace it i've heard you can put a 1985 f-350 diesel, radiator in its place , and itl work alot better. is this true if so is there any modificatoins ill need to do. or anything to look out for?

Well let's see, most of our trucks have been running for 14 or 15 years with the original radiator, most 85 fords are not even still running. My vote would be to reinstall a new radiator just like the one you take out. I pull my 5er all over the country to include the desert in the summer where the temp is over 110 degrees, I live in Florida where we see 100 degrees often and I have never had an overheat yet. I would say use to Dodge original style to be safe and have it last another 15 years.
