Questions about installing a boost pressure gauge
Hi all:
I got the complete boost pressure guage kit, but no diagram or instructions as to installation. There is an older thread with about 4 posts on the subject, but it does not answer my fundamental question: where do you plumb the "sensor" or whatever it's called. Being somewhat challenged by explanations, and pictures being worth a million words in my book, if any of y'all has a picture to show where to plumb, I'd be really grateful.
Thanks for your understanding, I might need some compassion, too, I guess...

Billut,
There is a plug in the area underneath where the intake horn goes into the manifold/head. Take that plug out and replace it the the brass fitting and ferule that came with your gauge. Try doing a search as I believe there were some pics on this subject.
Aloha,
Matt

Man, this site is awesome! There's always someone out there to share their knowledge, and that's invaluable to those - like me - who miss it badly.
Matt and John, thanks so much for the pics and the explanation!

Kind of interesting they went to all the work of tapping the intake horn when there are two empty plugs in the intake already. Must have been a 24v guy install it.
The 24v does not have an easy to use place in the head. There is a large tapped hole towards the rear by the MAP sensor but IIRC it is a harder to find metric size. Most with the 24v trucks drill and tap the intake horn like in the pic above.
