Question about lifting my 93 4x4

Hey guys !

I just picked up a 93 4x4 ext cab all stock! I want to lift it and i just happen to have a 73 power wagon with 6 inch lift skyjacker springs on it, the 73 has a big block in it so i think i can handle the weight of the diesel??? it looks like it would be a easy swap , all i need is a pitman arm. let me know you guys think about it.. yes?? no?? mabey so?

Thx!

Yes you could swap them over the bolt's on the spring's may be bigger on the diesel but if you are going to lift it Look into Crossover steering that will be the best thing you do to the truck ask anyone that has it they will agree .

not gonna hold the weight of the cummins unless you beef it up....it'll probably sag pretty bad pretty quick...you need diesel rated shocks and springs.

I have had friends put gasser shocks and springs and ruined the truck....also had a friend with a 97 powerjoke who put gas shocks and springs on and really messed the truck up.....do it right. Get diesel rated equipment for longevity.

This is a 93 with a 6" Skyjacker lift kit. The stock springs were also changed out for a HD set. Anyway...this should give you an idea of how your truck will set. It also has 315 75R 16's on it.
Hope this helps,
Bill

No, their not gas, all the original spring were replaced when the lift kit was installed.
