Pushrod cover question

Has anyone ever had to install a pushrod cover gasket? Mine is leaking and im wandering how much of a pain it is to install. Do you have to take the injector pump off to do it? Its been raining the past two days so i havnt got to look at it good. Just trying to get a feel of what im about to get into. Oh yeah its a '90 w250 4x4, that i got for free, and its my 1st, 1st gen. dodge. Any input is appreciated.

I think Jim Lane did a pretty detailed thread about it. I think it's better to pull the pump.
