Pump adjustment help wanted in SE PA.

I know that i am capable enough to do all the pump adjustments myself but i want to crank out as much power out of it as possible. So i am interested in seeing if someone is around the berks county Pennsylvania area that did alot of pump adjustments and would be willing to adjust mine for me. I jsut think that having a experienced person doing it i will get better results then compared to me doing it. I already put the Old smokey pin in and POD injectors. Want to also get the 3200 spring. Thanks in Advance.

Nah, you got it. Your wrenches are the same as the next guy, follow the sticky and then when you feel you need more (or less ) youll know how to do it.

I think if you know enough to put the old smokey pin in and the injectors, you should be able to tune your pump with no problem.

I'm in Delaware county but I'm gonna be pretty busy for the next few weekends. Sometime in February we can play with it if you want to wait until then. By then I'll be in Chester county...

I am confused about the section that talks about rotating the fuel pin 180 degrees. How is that possible with a old smokey fuel pin? I am 100% confused on this part now.

you dont rotate the after market pin!!! back the smoke screw out till it is flush with the inside of the afc housing, just acting like a plug, turn the full power screw about 5+- turns, get the afc star and back it out all the way and then back in about 2+- turns, get the spring and dive in all at the same time just be careful with that tophat or whatever its called! i also removed the washer under my fuel pin lets it travel a little farther down.

Not a good idea. With the washer gone the fuel pin will go down past the deepest point and start cutting back on the fuel. Pull the pin back out to see if this is happening to your pin.
