Pull Cable Question

So I have been searching the forum and have come up empty. When you gut the solenoid and hook the pull cable up, what do you do with the two wires? I know you dont hook them back up to the solenoid but do you hook them together to complete the circuit for the ksb? Thanks guys I appreciate it in advance!!!

You don't need it as long as you have taken your FSS and gutted it. If you havn't, it will be closed. Limited fuel if it is cracked and wasn't shutting off before.

The wire for my KSB comes out of the plug back by the fuel filter. It doesn't feed off the FSS.

It is best to not connect the two wires to a gutted FSS as it could overheat internally and present trash to the IP. Just connect the two wires together and insulate.

Thanks guys! I got the pull cable working and I did gut the FSS. Ill connect the wires and insulate them. I wont be driving the truck for a while now though. Got the cable all hooked up and the oring behind the shut down lever blew... lol So i spent the evening swapping my good tires onto my 78 gasser club cab just incase of snow. killer week ahead at work so I dont know when ill be able to pop the top on the pump and fix it. I think this has been seeping for awhile and messing with it finally popped it. Oh well thanks guys!!! Ill let you know when shes running again!!
