Project Sno Ball ....85 RamCharger
Can someone look through my thread here and tell me if all the pics are up and working? I am trying Marks info about adding the "~original" to all the pics......but most were already working when I came into the thread. In the edit of the post it shows the working pics with "attach" on either side of a 5-6 digit number.....so not sure if the mods are working through fixing threads and pics? If they are....THANK YOU!

I looked through all of the posts on this threads and I can see every picture except for NJTmans #53 where he quoted your post with your photobucket pics in it, AND NJTmans #56 which has nothing in it except "like this ?" and a big space as if something were supposed to be there.
I have Chrome browser and "photobucket embed fix" Add-On installed.
I hope this helps make up for my rant in the earlier post.

Plow Operating Manual
I have had 2 Sno Commanders . I just purchased another for parts . I have a factory OEM operating manual for that era plow if you would like it PM me to get some info and I will send it to you . The later era plows work much easier than the model you have . But it looks as if you have worked the issues out of yours . I have a complete later style plow unit cheap if anyone is in need ,

Could you walk me through how to save additions? Or is there a tutorial somewhere? I would like to archive and save other threads as well.
Thanks.
Well did some work on Sno-ball this evening.
Changed out the Hyd fluid in the plow...I was amazed at how creamy it was after not even a year. But it does currently sit outside all year round.
Then I finally tackled the horrible drivers power window issue. The motor would just spin, no window movement....busted plastic gears was my suspicion. Turns out I had the riveted PW mechanism....
Finally wrestled everything out, and replaced the motor with a spare. Had to swap the plug since the motor was from a 90's mopar. Then dig in my buckets of nuts and bolts and weld some nuts on the back of the PW mechanism so I could bolt it back in place.
Man I truly hate trying to get the arms back in the tracks...took me over an hour to do that alone! Suffered one nasty sheet metal cut on my thumb from the sharp edges on the inside of the door structure....but got it all back in an operating. Turns out the motor is wired internally backwards, even though I hooked the same coloured wires up, the motor now operated opposite on the switch....Oh well a project for another day.

You do realize that Sno-ball has now tasted your blood, and is forever changed. Don't be surprised to see it sitting outside your bedroom window, revving its engine, with no one behind the wheel.
Edit: You can also save the thread on your computer by right clicking on the page, hit save as, then save as a web page. That way it is also preserved on your computer...

Since I have Patches down to fix the rusting and paint flaking on the drip rails etc....I have been using Sno-Ball the last few days. Had some weirdness when it came to the gas tank though.
I was filling it with a gas can and it would fill right to the top then slowly it would go down. I figured this was due to the tank being full....but the fuel gauge showed it empty. I chalked it up to old gauge, or bad ground or something. So went to drop off kidlette at work the other morning and it fired up....then died after a couple minutes and would not fire. Checked and had no fuel in carb.....so go grab another gas can and start filling....same thing slow! Finally get it to start and carry on.
Then today fire up and leave and get 10 min from home and dies. Managed to push it to an empty lot and messed around with it. I had tossed in a small gas can with a couple gallons....so start to put it in the tank, again very slow. Finally get it started and turn around and head home to figure this out for good. Once running the truck is good...other then an old holley carb that needs a rebuild....other then that it runs well.
So first I decide to see about the fuel tank. I bang on it and it seems empty-ish? Can hear fuel sloshing around when I rock the truck....What the! If the tank is empty why won't the fuel go in? So decide to just suck it up and spend 15-20 min dribbling in 5 gallons of fuel. Once done I hop in and looky there the fuel gauge moved....so clearly the gauge works!
Get going back towards town and swing by and fill up at the station, it filled fine and the gauge now shows a full tank. So no idea why when the tank was almost bone dry it was not allowing fuel to drop in? Anyone come across this on their RC?
