I really like this option .. But I will still have to keep an eye out for a replacement.. the seal in that part is pretty well shot..

Hahaha.

OP could have the ear welded back on the vacuum pump. All he would need then is a re-seal kit for it. Van Gogh didn't have that option.

success!! found a local guy on the C list that has a guy that knows a guy that had the cast aluminum part.. It had a good seal and O-ring.. put everything back together, bled the air out of the system and all is well!!

On last question.. My dad came home from driving his rig.. Said everything feels great.. Maybe a little tighter than it used to be. I touched the PS box and it was hot.. Is that normal?

I know they warm up, but hot ?

Do you have a thermal temp sensor you can borrow ? I bought mine at HDeepblow for under $100
