Hook a hot to one wire and a ground to the other and the window should move up or down. Reverse the polarity and the window should move in the opposite direction.

The power goes to the driver side then through a harness behind the dash to the passenger side. I don't know if the power window harness is necessary or not. Hope that helps

POWER WINDOWS are usually switched via momentary DPDT center-off switches.

Pushing the switch UP runs the motor one way; pushing the switch DOWN reverses polarity of the wires and runs the motor the opposite way.

I take it you are putting power doors on a manual doored truck and have none of the harness.

You will just have to experiment by figuring out which wire is always HOT and which ones are only HOT when the buttons are pushed.

You can do this with some jumper-wires and a test-light, while the motors are un-plugged.

Connect the main HOT to a big always HOT source and NOT to any key-ON source.

I am soon going the opposite way = taking power doors and converting them to manual; I abhor power-windows = nothing but trouble.

Although I must say that the power-windows on our two Dodges that have them have given very little trouble; I cannot say that for the many other power-window vehicles we have owned over the years.

There was always one window that would not go UP and another that never went DOWN and someone always rolling down that window that wouldn't go back UP.

No relays necessary.
