Power steering

Hello everyone. How do I get the power steering pump removed from the vaccum pump. I got the hope assembly out already

Dan, not sure on your 90, but on the intercooled model years, make sure and remove the oil temp sensor and harness, before attempting to remove the vac pump and PS pump. Many a folks have sheared the sensor right off of the engine over the years.
The vac pump and PS pump is best done by removing as an assembly, then separating the PS pump from the Vac pump on your work bench.
The field service manual is very detailed on this procedure.

The vac pump is just bolted on. There's a spacer under one of the ears. Don't forget to install it, as you will break off the ear if you don't.

I've had to make one out of a common nut.
