Power Service Diesel Kleen...Helping?

Well I've been having issues with hazing and white/blue smoke, right from start up and through to running at temperature. I've been running 2 cycle oil, and a touch of Howes as my fuel additive since I started driving the truck.

Well I decided that I would run out my 2 cycle and Howes and then switch over to "Power Service Diesel Kleen + Cetane Boost" additive. Since a ot of the people who run it here on the DTR seem to have good things to say about it.

Well I did one tank and didn't notice much change, but then last week when I went to pick up my friends 63 Impala I figured this would be a great time to have it in the fuel to help clean things when it's running hot and steady on the highway.

Well I've noticed a huge reduction in my hazing, and when I'm driving off from a stop sign or light, I'm not getting that cloud of grey/white smoke at lower RPM's.

Not saying this solved my problems, but it sure seems to have helped.

I'm still convinced I have at least one bad injector, maybe two, since I get a puff of black smoke when I first take off. When I'm giving it the loud pedal it will puff black smoke irregularly, not the constant smooth rolling of black I've seen from most vids of 1st gen trucks givin' er.

But I'm pretty happy with the power service additive so far.

My truck starts hazing when my pop off pressures get low(takes about a year or so). If I bump them back up, it goes away. Not sure if VE stuff is the same.
