I've run that. I ran stanadyne too. never saw a difference in performance, but I run it for pump lubrication. I run the gray bottle of power service now. I guess I sleep better when I run that stuff but I have never seen any performance gains.

Anyone notice that the Power Service now has Slick Diesel listed as a lube additive??? Something new I guess. Just noticed it on the last couple of quarts I bought.

I run Lucas fuel cleaner and I'll be a monkey's uncle if it didn't increase my mileage by 1mpg. I went from 15.2 to 16. Good enough reason for me to run it.

I only run additive in the winter for anti-gel. Tried the Power Service in the silver bottle and got about 1-2 mpgs better. Might be worth using all the time if fuel prices stay high but when fuel was $1.50/ga the savings didn't pencil out.

I always put in additive every time I fill up. I have used the Power Sevice, and Lucas upper cylinder lube. No cetane boost from the Lucas, but I can't say I notice any difference w/or w/out the cetane boost. I mainly wnat the lubricity of the additive to keep the VP nice and slick.

I just bought white and silver bottles of PS at Pep Boys on clearance. I'm running on a straight tank now.

My last 2 tanks I used half bottle of Shell Rotella DFA (WalMart clearance). Mileage when up +1.5 mpg to 15.7 ( 1/2 city driving with the OD off)

To bad they won't put fuel on clearance $ 2.43gal last night Ouch.

I dump in a bottle to my home bulk tank at fill time.
