We had a 91.5 at the ranch and put in Bosch 190's when it needed injectors. They gave some power and were not too bad on egt's. I think an upgraded compressor would have allowed us to safely add more fuel.

I just wanted to see if we could get this thread going again to help everyone out. If ya had $5000 what would you do? Custom pump mods to flow the bigger injectors, larger turbos, tranny mods, cosmetics too, etc. $5000 = _ _ _ _ _ _?

I was told that the stock sach's clutch will hold close to 400hp if you dont do like 2nd gear launches and stuff.

To make some cheap power! 366 gov spring thats a must. cut the afc fuel pin and grind the afc foot. turn up the fuel some take the timing up a tooth. a 16cm housing on a 35 or 40 is about the cheapest way to go or your stock h1 with a 12cm waste gated housing or 16 cm. Make sure u have gauges please don't melt another 5.9. If u need some tips give me a pm.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHA CK the tranny is the expensive part. Are you gonna put in a 47rh or just build the Non Lockup? I could spend 5G's on my 47rh easy.

If one were to go to a 14mm H&R and 4mm cam what all would that entail? Could it still be daily driven? Can a 12mm pump maxed handle 6x16 - 6x18 edm injectors? Would an HX40 be enough, temporarily, for the said injectors? I know its a lot of questions, but it might help a lot of folks out. Definately me. Thanks!

14mm and 4mm, yes daily, as long as there enough fuel pressure
i have 6x20s and a 12mm, yes but your not getting max power, 6x14s to 6x16s would be max if your not going 14mm
you would fry the turbo, even with a 12mm, you would easly over boost it or snap the saft, i run a hx40 and ht60 and it seems fine

Thanks man! I am pretty sure I'm gonna run the 14mm. Can one run the 14 H&R w/ out the 4 cam? I plan on the cam also, just curious. And to run the H&R and cam is anything else required so as not to burn it up?
TRANNY - I'm wanting to rebuild mine myself also, but have no idea how. I'm gonna try and find a good book. Anyone know of a good tutorial book like the ve pump book/dvd? Final? For now W/ running the 14H&R, 4 cam, 6x18 injectors, HX40 temp., and a good tranny could the truck still be hauled w/, nothing extreme? 4 wheelers, single truck, etc. Would water meth. system make it possible or safer? Again, thanks for all the great info!
