Potential...

Some of these trucks have more potential than others. I turned up a stock '93 at a dyno day on Sunday. It was stock except for a 16 cm turbine housing when I started. Bumped the timing about 1/4", put the AFC cone to the deep side, turned the fuel screw all the way in, and got rid of the high idle screw. Made sure it had full throttle travel, hotwired the KSB, and onto the dyno it went. 227/511! That's a healthy pump, an aftermarket fuel pin and a 3200 RPM spring should push it over 250 HP with the stock injectors.

Mine did a little better than last time. I disregarded the unhealthy clatter at idle and shoved the pump to the head. More timing makes my truck run better on the dyno, but it surges on the road set that way.

We had dyno days here on Sunday as well....My shift changed at the last minute and I couldn't go. Was planning on running old RAE on the rollers to get a base line. Guess I have to wait until April now....

How much timing are you running? Skipped tooth and to the head?

Check out the PADTR Sub-forum sometime....we do plenty of events.

Nothing ever happens in Jersey don't bother going in there

That's how I dynoed it. For daily driving I back it down so the match marks line up. Sounds less spooky that way.

Not yet. I think I'll put one in for the spring dyno event and see what happens.

I would be curious to see what happens with the timing spacer. Mine hated it with 1 tooth advanced. Works great with stock timing. But I tow. Never had it on a dyno.

I am certain the difference is your injectors vs mine. Wana has injectors more similar to mine.
