Piston lift pump-why do it?

No the real reason I have not released info about the pump is because I don't have good readings on the numbers. Im getting air into the gauge and its not reading well cuz of the fuel leak I have in the tank somewhere, I don't want to fix it right now because im trying to get my truck into the body shop and it will be apart then and be geting a 1/2' pickup and lines so its seems pointless to repair it when its not leaking "that bad" lol.

I've been running with it for awhile now without any leaks on my injection pump "so far" "knock on wood" So hopefully the lift pump is supplying the appropriate pressure
