pin grinding

Has anyone ground thier own pin, or have any specs on how far to go? I am going to work on my dad's truck tomarrow and am wondering how much to grind or to just leave it alone. I am a mechanic and have plenty of skill that way, just haven't messed to much yet with my dad's truck. My dad is a timber cutter and build's and modifies his own saws so when it needs to be ground down and gingerly, that's not a problem either since he has my 1/2 hp flex shaft dremel. Any info would be great.

Thanks,

Owen

By the way you guy's have a great site!

Several members have ground their own. You can search and find some picts. However, some members have pointed out that you if you mess it up then the truck runs worse than stock. You make the call. Good luck.

Yeah,

I looked at all the old posts in this section and saw that it was saying just radius the pin some, I was just looking for some more info from people who have done it themselves. Even if I don't do that this afternoon I've got some other things to do.
