Pictures of Flatbeds
Alright Guys, Nice pic's but does any one have pic's of a 2 wd dually first gen with flatbed? I have an 85 crew and i just picked up a dually with 3:54 and posi rear axle sitting in the bed of my truck as i write this. I am debating the flat bed or keeping my current 6 ft. sweptline bed. I am currently searching for fenders. What i can't decide is flatbed or keeping the short bed which would be a unique set up for a crew cab and would look pretty cool i think. If i go flat i would like to find an aluminum 6 - 7 ft. long flat bed with tool boxes mounted under neath or dual 30 gal. fuel tanks. WHAT DO YOU ALL THINK???
Here's mine. Flatbed was on it when I got it, and it is homemade. 7x9 feet. the underbed boxes are a drag, because the hinges are constantly rusting up and they don't stay dry inside, so I almost never use them.
Sometimes I wish I had a regular bed with a canopy for camping and whatnot, but I've thought about just building a camper thing that would just bolt to the flatbed.
