dzl damon, did you make the same pick-up in the tank as pwrtripls1?

 

With 1/2" lines and a big FS1000 filter and filter head I'm at 11 psi at the IP untill I get into the throttle and then It goes down to 4 psi, my next thing is going to be a 2ng gen pump in parallel with the carter and the carter on a boost referance switch to turn on. I'm thinking of a sump for the mechanical, anyone running one of those? I'm not crazy about it hanging down that much, I still do use my truck offroad.
And SLINGSHOT, I ditched the white plastic thing that these guys have moded, the half inch hydrolic hose that I used fit perfect in the bottom of the pick up screen, so I went at it that way. I'll see If I can try to find some pics of it and post up.

 

Yes. I bored out the plastic piece too that is in the pick up. Full 3/8" all the way to the banjo bolt.

Second thought... I did leave the fine screen in the pump. Did you remove that pwrtripls11?

 

could you use the nice shiney helman sump with this set up?

 

Sure. I wanted to but didn't want to shell $160 clams for such a simple thing. I'm sure it's real nice though.
