Pics (closeups) of Tailgate?

At some point, I want to paint the brown tailgate satin black (too hard to match the silver/grey metallic body paint), figuring it will go well with the black rims (as soon as I paint the right side rims to match the left side )

I have close friend that cuts vinyl. He's in the process of cutting some new reflective lettering for my tailgate ("DODGE RAM") and is unable to get the exact dimensions from my pics due to severely worn/faded paint over the embossing.

I figured someone (Jim L? Wanna?) might have a pristine tailgate and maybe I could get some closeup pics of the individual letters?

Can anyone help?

Pristine tailgate? Me? Nope, my truck looks way better in pics than in person - and I have the plastic cover trim style anyway.

Sorry,
Mine has the $700.00 stainless steel trim on mine.

Take a roll of masking paper the width of your tailgate, tape it over the stamped letters and start rubbing a black crayon over the letters paying very close attention to the outside edges of the letters. All said and done you will have an exact replica of the words and a good sign shop will have no trouble duplicating them in vinyl.

Yes, that's the style I have. The distance between the edge of the embossing and the paint is the dimension I'm looking for... mine are all "jagged" from wear/tear.
