Photos in Sticky?

I have looked in the stickys for photos of installing a six speed in a first generation truck, but can not find any. It appears from the topic, pictures were there at one time. Please advise, Thanks

What 6spd are you trying to install? The NV5600, or the G56?

I'm not sure that a 1st Genner has tackled that one yet. I know of 2 or 3 trucks that have swapped an NV5600 in, bt I haven't heard of a G56 swap.

The donor truck is a 2007. Is there lot of difference in the G56 and the 5600 ?
Is there any pictures of the 5600 in a first gen?

If you'll search "auto to manual swap" you will find some good info but I can't tell you if the pics are still available.

Flywheels are standard trans and flexplates are auto trans. Don't be greedy, you can't have both.

Today, I took a look at the G56 with T-case. That is a big transmission for a Dodge truck.
