Well im back from the Baja (4000 mi trip ) and I still have the same trouble with it overheating as I did before I left Arkansas. This is after new radiator, water pump, 180o thrmostate . I also checked the cluch fan and its is good. I also tried all kinds of additives to help it cool down. This is pulling a fith wheel trailer ( 1300 lbs ) up hill on long pulls. Thanks for any help.

This is the one I got from Summit.com I really is amazing how much cooler the engine runs with this thing running. I had a local hose shop build the 1/2" 8an lines. I do need to do a better wiring job on it but it is working good for now. This is how I mounted it. This is parker high temp hose rated at 300F continuous temp with petrol based oil @250 working psi and 1000 burst psi. The IC radiator would be a big help also.
Thank you, Charliex25

Aux trans coolers are avaliable at any auto parts store. I believe dodge had an optional under the bed trans cooler for heavy duty apps.. Autos make alot of heat and getting rid of it somewhere other than the engine cooling system is a good thing. Any extra trans cooler would be cheap insurance even if it doesn't fix your problem.
I think the bigger radiator would be the best place to start. I think it holds an extra gallon or so, but dont hold me to that.
ALso, get an extra tranny cooler on there. The one in front of the radiator is pitifully small.
Will the heat exchanger really add that much heat to the cooling system? I guess if it is maxed out without the added heat, it could.
