overdrive ?

OK we just picked up a 92 w350 club cab auto what i need some help on is the OD at 55-65 the OD will shift back and forth constantly, at 70+ its fine and below 55 its fine . is the tps going bad? or what kind of adjustment is needed

If the speedo is smooth then it's the TPS.

thats what i thought ,but some one was saying that it was a sensor on the back of the tranny ? Im not aware of one back there for the O/D...is there?
and who has a good source for a new TPS?

They must have been thinking of 2 wheel drive model with the speed sensor drive in the tail housing instead of the transfer case or they are thinking about the 47RE which is electronic and has a speed sensor in the OD section.
