Ok so i was having charging issues last summer so i replaced the external regulator with one from oreilys that helped for a while then battery was dead one day so no big deal i put a new battery on it then the amp meter on truck started showing lowcharge and i would have to put truck on charger about once a week. so i took the altenator off and had it benched 10 amp charge was all so i got a new alt put it on and volt meter read 18 and i boiled the batt over. i think another volt reg but beyond that i am stumped. ps when i unplug volt reg i still get a charge of about 10 amps at idle.
