Ooopppsss....gov spring gone wrong
So I just did something semi-stupid. I was installing my 366 spring and decided it would be easier to remove the shut down lever instead of removing my pull cable from the shut down lever when I was pulling the pump top. (Don't ask me why I did it....being lazy comes to mind I guess .) The spring behind the lever went flying into orbit so when I went to catch it, I bumped the shut down lever shaft and moved it. I've now lost it's original position and orientation inside the pump. Does anyone have an idea of what the shut down lever inside the pump top should line up with? I was looking at the pictures in the gov spring sticky and it looked like the lever was sitting parallel to the pump top edge. Does it sit like that in the run position (full fuel) or in the off position (no fuel)? This is the pic I'm talking about. If I'm looking at it right, that shout be the run position (full fuel), right?
