I think I got up to 95-100 range and normally cruise at 65-75 with 3.55 gears and O.D.

90 is about as fast as i like to go and only for a short time. That is only because the motorl is screaming, handling wise it feels comfortable.

These engines are governed. Unless the govenor has been modified it will allow only about 2900 RPM. The engine will run against a stock govenor all day with the only damage being to your wallet for fuel. I have the 4:10 gears and run 70-75 for extended periods regularly.

Smooth as glass into the tripple digets. Too bad the roads up here aren't better.

I hit 95 no problem and could've gone some more but the girlfriend was getting nervous so I slowed down to the 55MPH speed limit. Besides, I live on a rock in the middle of the Pacific Ocean. I run out of road before I can reach max speed.

Aloha,
Matt

If I hit 85, my dash shakes so bad the cd player shuts off.

I could hit 96 MPH when I was completely stock. Thats with 3.55's and Over drive.

Now I can bury the speedometer

I never had any problems with shaking, just the wind resistance.

x2, we have had a couple of case/ih tractors with the same engine. run 2500 rpm from sun up to sun down.
