Anyone got a source for the DGK 121 seal kit online? Can't get ebay here at work and a local source isn't presenting any luck for me......
Oil pan is WAAAAAAY over full, oil pressure is real low and the giant oil slick in the driveway under the draft tube this AM tell me that the front seal gave up the ghost.......

Do you have the stock-issue diaphragm lift-pump ??
It could also be the source of all the fuel.
Scratch that; I see you have a piston lift-pump.
As for the seal kit, I got several from a really nice E-Bay vendor in either Georgia or Tennessee; that don't help if you don't have E-Bay access.

OK, I ordered the kit I found above then afterwords I ran across this:
https://www.dieseltruckresource.com/...ght=front+seal
Am I getting the wrong seal or is that problem old news?
Also, A locktited seal, Will it hold a 2nd gen piston pump with out a regulator?

If I am seeing right, that kit includes a 366 governor-spring that I have not before seen included before.
If that is indeed the case, then that is the best buy yet.
As for the loc-tited seal holding the increased pump pressure, besides the possibility of actually pushing out the seal, I would also question the possibility of the fuel being pushed out around the shaft.

I had not seen that particular information before and would also like to know.
The main shaft seal in the kits of un-known heritage that I got from E-Bay appeared identical in every way to the one we removed from the pump in the son's truck.
His old seal was not leaking, but every seal in the pump got replaced; so far, so good.
As soon as clear weather allows, I am resealing the pump in my truck; I am probably losing a quart a day.
What I believe would be an advantage to the higher pressure pump, especially in your locale, is that the higher pressure might better push cold sluggish fuel through the system when one is already on the verge of gelling.

In years past even with a filter that was nearly new, it would gell at around -35* or so.....
been down to -42* already this year without problems...... (at least in the gelling department)......
If you read the description at the bottom of the page, it states "New seal kit for most all Bosch VE Injection Pumps with the 20mm front seal. Will repair a lot of Rotary Style Pumps such as the 1988-1993 5.9 Cummins Diesels, VW's, Case Tractors, BMW and more." (Emphasis added)
I just measured the shaft of my extra pump and it is 20mm on my caliper. So yes, it is the right one.
