One fuel leak after another - now injectors

My injection pump was leaking at the head so I did a complete reseal, whew that was a pita, I had to take the pump down and reinstall a few times due to a no- start condition after the first reinstall, and then a persistent fuel pin leak. Just as soon as I could catch my breath, the fuel heater o-ring started leaking.

Now, 2 of the injectors are seeping fuel out at the hold down nuts. First I thought it was from return lines / washer. Is there a washer / seal under the injector hold down nut? The hold down nuts must have been knocked loose by the repeated loosening and tightening of the injector fittings during the IP reseal reinstalls.

I don't know about a washer under the hold down nut, but I have had two injectors leak on my truck. Both times I was able to UN-hook the return line and injector line and put a deep socket on the hold down nut and tighten it up a bit and stop the leak.

No there is no seal under the injector nuts. Just give them a re-torque ad the problem might go away. Are you sure it's the nuts that are leaking, and not the fuel line nuts? I know I had to loosen and readjust the seats on the fuel line nuts on a couple injectors.

I loosened and retightened the injector line fittings. That did the trick. The motorhome is back on the road. Without leaks I'm getting 32 psi boost now, previously 30.

On to Moab then Baja.
