Well I just picked up 2 oil filters, 17 litres of oil and an air filter for my truck and my daughters Eagle vision. $120.oo later and 3 "FREEKIN" hours of driving later.
Why is it that from 7 DCX dealerships, 3 Canadian Tire stores, 2 Wal-marts, 3 Car-Quest auto stores and 2 other small auto parts stores, that only one dealership (and had to the ONE FURTHEST AWAY) had my air filter and ONLY ONE in stock.
The girl at the parts counter even said she wasn't gonna order one to replace it cuz I bought the only one they had.
Either Windsor has some extremely clean air (WHICH IT DON"T- Living next to Detroits River Rouge plants) or there is ONE HELL OF ALOT of CTDs running around with plugged air filters.

Two part stores and three dealerships don't stock them because they said they haven't sold any to warrant stocking them.

Maybe you can figure this out. I sure can't.

 

Everybody else is running a K&N or a BHAF I guess.

I'm in Windsor Ontario Canada. They can get it with no problem but havta order it overnight. NOBODY stocks it.

That's insane. With all the CTD's on the road, you would think that somebody changes air filters.

 

Dont feel bad, its pretty much the same here. People at the AP store just look at me like I just asked for a muffler bearing for a Zundapp. Buy on line and save yourself the hassles.
