i am in the middle of putting a nv4500hd in place of my getrag that blew up and i need a pic of the conversion mount i had to move the stock first gen crossmember back a inch or so and it lookis like i can just weld a plate on there drill two holes and bolt it down not sure if that will work or not now in the pics i have attqached you can see i am using a second gen trans nount and i need to attach it to a first gen crossmember now can i just weld the plate that you see in the pic over the oval holes in the crossmember and bolt the second gen trans mount to the welded on plate or will that be to low and put my drive shafts out of whack

That will work fine. I did mine kinda like that. Get an angle finder and check the angle of the flange on the 4500 and you pinion yoke and get them as close as you can to the same. Like 6* up on the pinion and 6* down on your trans or what ever angle the pinion is at. The flange and your t-case yoke will be the same. Then you can tell if you need to shim it up or not.

I just measured mine. From the top of the BARE crossmember to the flat transmission mounting surface where the transmission mount bolts onto measures 4"

Yes I used my stock hydro but I made my stock G-rag bell bolt to the trans. So the only thing not stock was the Trans.
