NV 4500 swap questions

I am well into the swap of the NV4500. What did you guys do about the reverse light switch. I assume one is to cut off the old connector and put on a 2 terminal male metri-pac connector. Or swap the switch from the rag.

The second question will make your head hurt. What makes this a real unique swap is the clutch. It's a south bend 3850 dual disk with SOLID hubs and full feramic friction material. It does fit inside the advanced adapters bellhousing just fine. So, anyway the fork is ever so slightly touching the pressure plate when the throwout bearing is in the clutch applied position. It is instantly moved away from the pressure plate as the clutch is applied. I marked the spot and introduced it to the angle grinder. I was wondering if anyone has had to do this and if they welded reinforcement back on the fork afterward? It looks plenty strong but better to ask now I suppose. I tried to call peter but they were closed for the day.

This is not a project for the faint of heart, disassemble, reassemble, disassemble.......

sorry that i don't have any great pointers for you, i've got an NV with the AA bellhousing under my truck right now. my next clutch will most likely be a Dual Disk from SBC so i am very interested to hear how this turns out... are you useing the stock master and slave or have you upgraded them?

I bought a hydraulics upgrade from peter, looks very similar to original except I noticed the pushrod on the slave is probably too short. What did you do about the reverse switch?
