NP205 problems

I was backing my 5th wheel the other day in some mud so I put it in 4low. when I gave it some fuel I heard a ratcheting noise from underneath and no front engagement for a second . When I let off the fuel it engaged. Is it the t case or the front hubs not working correctly????? Any one know or has had this happen. It also does it on my neighbors older chev.

I'm guessing you had a hub that didn't catch right away. Were your wheels turned short when it happened ? I've had that happen a couple of times before I installed the Warn Premium hubs.

it could also be that you did not have the 4low pushed in all the way. common if your linkage gets a little worn
