i have read in a few post in order to attach
the nv4500 to the np205 transfercase you
need to remove the transmission end seal.
is it possable to do this without removing
the seal? can the coupler be cut down a
little?

 

I cut the coupler down with a lathe when I did mine so I could keep the seal in the trans.

 

would you still have the measurment it needs to be cut to?

 

I just bolted it up and have over 10,000 miles on mine
