NP205 Output yoke nut torque spec??????
For those of you with a service manual I have a question.

I would like to know what the torque spec is for the nut holding the output yoke for the REAR drive shaft.

There seems to be some play in the spline. Its not leaking and it really doesn't feel loose in the fore/aft direction but when you turn it there is some movement in the splines. I dunno I was going to take it apart and look at it but I dont know what the torque spec is for the big nut holding the yoke.

Thanks for any advice!

MD

Re:NP205 Output yoke nut torque spec??????
It might be a problem with shims. I had mine tore apart because of play in the fron t shaft, you had to play around to engage/disengage too. I was told it had been worked on before and wasn't shimmed properly. They said everything looked great, corrected the problem, and now it shifts great too, been using 4wd all week.
