NP205 Front Output Shaft Bearing Replacement

Hey all,
Replacing my TC front output shaft bearing. According to this instruction, I'm going to remove a snap ring after removing yoke and bearing retainer. Do these bearings remove from the outside, or do I have to remove the output shaft assembly and remove the bearing from inside the case? Also, anyone know the part # of the 23 spline front output shaft bearing? As always, thanks in advance!

D

Use the 23 spline input shaft bearing. The front output is a 6 or 8 roller bearing. The input shaft bearing is a 12 count roller bearing. They do interchange.

In that link someone has installed the higher count roller bearing somewhere during its life.

So, philip and maybe, you missed my question. I had posted the same link maybe and in those instructions it shows removing the snap ring under the bearing retainer for the front output shaft, and I can't tell if the bearing comes out from the outside, or if you have to remove it from the inside. Also, that same bearing in the picture, does anyone know the part# of that bearing?
