Well if it is garage kept and so on. Why was it painted and new interior and so on.

I think someone swap the speedo out also.

I wonder what car fax would say about.

Well at that price i don't know.. it is a nice find but it would be cheaper to build one from the ground up than buy that one and you'd have a truck that was actually nicer and that suited your needs.

My first two thoughts are 117,000 miles and probably repainted with a newer style grille for a reason. I have recently seen a bunch of these low mileage cars and trucks that probably have actual mileage that exceeds the limitations of the speedometer. Buyer beware - as you guys have already said.

I thought of that too, but the mileage!!! if it only has 17k on it, it's been in a garage most of it's life. Look at some of the Vintage stuff that rolls across Barrett Jackson with 20k and original paint. In his add it says it's been garaged. Somethings not right there .

White does hide alot, I don't think they could ask that price if it was a hack though. Maybe they just wanted to give it a nice coat to sell it. Or it could have been a typical Dodge and the paint was flaking, that would be a surprise. It has to be a conversion, I don't think it was a dually to begin it's life. I has the conversion dually fenders with no marker lights.

I have an 82 Corvette with 30K miles that has been garage kept its entire life and the paint hasn't deteriorated. That's why I'm suspicious.

I tried telling my wife that too, THEN she showed me the checkbook, and reminded me how it was a better idea to find a truck that was allready done.
