So the other day the PO of my truck called me up and said he had some goodies from one of his parts hording friends who used to have a gen1.

A full Dana 70, drum to drum, extra hardware, extra drums, extra diff (innards), and a fuel pump.

He wanted $400 for the axle and the extras, and $100 for the pump.

Well, today I researched a bit and found that the axle was a later model, and not necessarily what I wanted, especially at $400 plus a $150 seal/bearing kit and a $60 LSD clutch pack...and probably some pads and yadda yadda.

The fuel pump, though...I think I pretty much scored for $100:









It has definitely been used, as you can see there's scratches where it connects, but it sure looks to be in good shape.

I also scored 2 rear drums, a bunch of crap for the rear brakes and two axles and an old diff...and turns out their all from my truck, when something gave way and he took all the parts that were good and replaced the axle.

Woot!

Throw a DGK-121 in it and put it on the shelf. Darn good deal!!

When I wrecked my IP I had to find another unit. I lucked out a found another 89 unit a couple hour drive from me for $150. And I know I got a good deal, so for a $100 you stole that one.

 

Nope you got screwed! I will send you some money and you send me the pump.
What was the axle? Dana 80, if so I would rethink that and go get it.
