Next project a fummins!

I'm gettin a '89 ford f250 ext cab long bed 4x4 it's a standard.
It had a cummins in it with a zf5 speed and ford t case the guy it takin all tht out and puttin it another truck so ima buy it and swap my 89 12v.

Here's my question I want to use my getrag but it 2wd so what are my options regarding t cases? A divorced ford or what?

divorced or swap the output/main shaft to a 4wd shaft.

My dad said to just run a divorced ford case but what do I have to get to do it?

Early 70's Fords had driver side drop, divorced NP205s....

77 and older f250 4x4 will have a divorced 205. I think somewhere around 72 and older they used different case so stay away from those ones.

I found a 460 gasser 5speed tranny and t case will it hold to a cummins in front of it?

i ran a divorced t-case out of a mid 70,s ford when i first did my conversion years ago, it held up fine, the gasser zf 5spd does ok behind a cummins if not abused

It will a lil mud truck and play toy so I can save my silver dodge I'm just have a hard time finding a front axle
