Hi my name is Dave and I have a 92 Chevy 3500 that im about to start building up and I am trying to decide between a first gen or second gen 5.9 to drop in it my question is how easy would it be to get about 400-450hp and 1000 ftlbs of tq out of the first gen 5.9 and about how much it would cost,

Ive tried the search but all i can come up with is backing out thhe fuel screw and doing some injectors and a 3000rpm GSK ,
but I was wondeirng what a good combo would be for this engine
any and all advice will be appreciated

Well a second gen would be way easier for your goals
